This fireplace area didn't exist prior to the renovation this client undertook.

The placement was important as the fireplace had to be seen from all areas of the open living spaces and kitchen area. The overall appearance also had to work in with the coastal, relaxed aesthetic the client liked and had in the rest of the home.

The framing, flue and fireplace were installed. To minimise costs James Hardie pre-finished panels were applied directly to the frame and painted Dulux Natural White, removing the need and dust of applying gyprock. These panels have been used in other areas of the home and the fireplace appears as if it has always been there.

This fireplace is a gorgeous area and provides a true centrepoint for this family home.
